Archiving Policy

Pattola Syaraq: Journal of Fatwa and Religious Social Affairs is dedicated to the long-term preservation of its digital content. We ensure that all published articles remain securely accessible to the global academic community and the general public indefinitely.

1. Digital Preservation

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lot of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries.

These systems permit those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration, ensuring that the digital content is safe from potential server failures or data loss.

2. Author Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are permitted and strongly encouraged to post their published articles (the final PDF publisher's version) to their personal or institutional repositories, as well as academic networks (e.g., ResearchGate, Academia.edu, Google Scholar).

  • Authors may archive the pre-print, post-print, and publisher's version/PDF.
  • When uploading the article, authors must explicitly state that the article was published in Pattola Syaraq and provide a proper citation along with a link to the article's DOI (Digital Object Identifier) on the journal's official website.
